Will competition in the mortgage market heat up in 2010? If so, non-bank lenders might get their fingers burnt
Australia’s credit unions and building societies are preparing to take on non-bank lenders as competition returns to the market in 2010. But some say it will be a tough challenge for mutuals to gain share as the big four banks become more competitive and continue to gain access to funding at lower rates.
