Almost 90 per cent of NAB customers offered the opportunity to use voice authentication IDs have added their voices to accept the technology
When Wollongong-based insurer Australian health management became the country’s first major public deployment of voice biometric authentication in late 2006, it knew the technology worked but was unsure how its customers would react.
Since then, it has found more than 95 per cent of customers accepted when offered this option for authentication when contacting the call centre.
