Cyberstorm warning
The upcoming Cyberstorm exercise will test the responsiveness of banks and CERT Australia to electronic attack

As Australia’s new government computer emergency response team (CERT Australia) gears up to run this country’s participation in the international Cyberstorm security exercise, our banks will take their place alongside other critical infrastructure such as utilities and telecommunications to test their response and recovery to large scale cyber attacks.
The exercise will take place in September/October, having been run previously in 2006 and 2008.
